To be eligible for attendance in the school program, a child must meet these age requirements for the school year:
- Infant Class Must be 6 weeks as of child’s start date in school
- Six Month Class Must be 6 months as of child’s start date in school
- One Year Class Must be 12 months and as of September 1
- Two Year Class Must be 2 by September 1
- Three Year Class Must be 3 by September 1
- Four Year Class Must be 4 by September 1
Entrance requirements coincide with State of Georgia school entrance guidelines and requirement of ACSI the school’s accrediting body. The state of Georgia requires immunization from #3231 must be on file, in the school office, for all children attending any school program. These documents must be submitted prior to the first day of attendance and can be obtained from your child’s doctor or faxed to the school at 404-806-4860.
Application forms which include the rate schedule may be obtained from the school office or on this website's form Download page. Fill out the application form, attach the required fee and records and return it to the office or Director. All classes will be filled on a first-registered, first-space available basis. No spaces will be assigned without a paid application and all required documentation on file.
Enrollment preference is given to children whose parents are members of Horizon Baptist Church and children presently enrolled in our school. Siblings of currently enrolled children are also given preference. After “in-house” registration (usually the last week in January), open registration will be held for the community at large based on a first come, first enrolled policy until maximum class size is obtained.

Horizon Christian School is a non-profit child development program. Parents are expected to participate in classroom activities, field trip opportunities and fund raising ventures.
